Microwind is a program for Windows that allows you to simulate and build integrated circuits. It was developed as a comprehensive software package for learning smart design methods and techniques through practice. Advanced layout editor

Microwind features a precision CMOS layout editor, which supports technologies from 1.2 micron to 14 nm with enhanced illustration capabilities. Using the dedicated commands and controls, you are able to decrease your development time. It also enables you to build, simulate and design FinFet transistor circuits.

Schematic editor and simulator

What is more, the application provides you with a DSCH program which serves as a logic editor and simulator. With the help of this utility, you can validate the architecture of the logic circuit before the microelectronics design is started. It offers you a user-friendly environment for hierarchical design and fast simulation with delay analysis. This means you are able to create and validate complex logic structures.

Cross-sectional and 3D analyzer

In addition, the software comes with a VirtualFab component. It gives you the ability to analyze and see a cross-sectional view of silicon layers and circuits. You also can draw real-time images of the layout and navigate in fill-3D on the surface or inside the IC. This command is based in OpenGL and ensures optimal picture quality.
