MaxiLink is a Windows application for updating hand-held scanners made by Sealey. There is support for the VS8701, VS8621, VS8622 and VS8651 models. Moreover, you can access detailed manuals for every device type. Please note that Adobe Reader is necessary to open these instructions.

Update process

The first step is to select the correct tab and attach the scanner to the desktop via USB cable. A small image of the device is located on every page for easier hardware identification. After connecting the scanner users can navigate to the new firmware file on the local hard drive. Clicking the Update button will begin the process.

Diagnostic trouble codes

You are able to download all recorded error messages from the device and display them on the screen. This functionality is helpful for troubleshooting various technical issues.

There is a list of all possible diagnostic codes in the DTC Lookup section. It contains detailed descriptions for every error. A search text field for quickly jumping to the required code is available. Instruction manuals for all supported scanner models can be accessed via the Manual tab.
