Mashup is a Windows software for mixing audio files. It contains instruments for synching tempos of two songs played at different speeds. Users can automatically detect the input BPM and adjust all tracks accordingly to match it. Please note that Masup is distributed on a commercial basis. There is no free trial version.

Music production

After starting the utility you can add multiple MP3 files to the library. The next step is to create the first track by selecting one of the imported songs. The rest of the collection will be analyzed automatically to detect the most harmonically compatible options. Every file is scored on a 0-100 scale where 100 represents a track that is perfectly in key with the starter song.

The master tempo is adjustable. This feature is helpful for finding a speed balance between two tracks. Users are able to cut, rearrange and clone individual song fragments. It is possible to zoom in and out of the timeline for easier navigation.

Mixing process

You can manually manipulate the volume of every track to achieve the best results. Moreover, there is a multiband equalizer for tuning separate frequencies. Similar to ABSYNTH, third-party VST plugins are fully supported.
