LoggerNet is a program for Windows whose main purpose is to provide data logger support. Basically, it facilitates programming, communication, and information retrieval between data loggers and a personal computer.

The software consists of a server app and multiple clients seamlessly integrated into a unified product. It is possible to connect to a single data logger. However, its main strength lies in solutions that require telecommunications or scheduled data retrieval in large networks.

A notable advantage of the design is that certain clients, such as RTMC, have the flexibility to operate on any computer connected to the main system through TCP/IP. These networks can include Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, or the Internet.

You have the option to configure the server to communicate with several data loggers via different communications hardware. The program enables you to collect information on demand or schedule. In addition, you may present real time data in a numeric display or graph.

Other capabilities include creation of automated tasks, processing files using Split, and saving data in formats like CSV and XML. The latter can be imported into third party analysis packages. In case you want to interact with data loggers made by HOBO, you may try a tool called HOBOware.
