KPortScan is a Windows program for analyzing the network and identifying open communication ports. There are instruments for batch scanning of A/B/C/IP lists as well. The number of threads, timeout period and other operation parameters are customizable.

Scanning instructions

After starting the application you can select the country from the drop down menu. There are several toggles for configuring the scan process. Moreover, it is possible to adjust the amount of simultaneous threads and manually enter the required port number.

Like in SuperScan, users are instructed to load IP address ranges into the workspace. The Start button begins the scan. There are instruments for interrupting the operation abruptly at any time or finishing it slowly to save gathered data. The progress bar is located at the bottom of the main window.

Tools for viewing active processes associated with individual ports are provided. This functionality is useful for locating malicious files on the hard drive.
