InterVideo Home Theater is a digital entertainment program for Windows that enables you to watch and record TV shows, video clips, as well as launch DVD and VCD discs. It is also possible to listen to music and sing karaoke.

General notes

After launch, the graphical user interface will display all the available options, such as TV, DVD/VCD, Pictures, Videos, Music and Radio. It was specifically designed to be easy-to-use, and thus features large fonts, little text and a very bright and clear background. A list of thumbnails can help you to choose the file you want to play.

As with most media players, you have the option to preview any contents in a small window. The utility is capable of playing any file using the codecs installed on the system, viewing photographs with animations and transitions, as well as launching multimedia discs.

In-built karaoke

In addition, the application offers you a digital karaoke machine. In order to access it, you have to insert a compatible music disc. It is important to point out that a microphone needs to be plugged into the PC for the karaoke function to work properly. Alternatively, you may use dedicated software, such as KaraFun.
