IMTranslator is a Windows program for installing a browser plugin. It is compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera. The main purpose of the add on is quickly translating text from one language to another. Please note that IMTranslator is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer.

How it works

After integrating the extension users are able to access new functionality via the main browser toolbar. There is an option to choose the required translation provider like Google, Microsoft Bing or Yandex.

You can translate words or whole phrases. The source language is identified automatically. Additionally, a powerful text to speech module is included.

Dictionary

It is possible to look up detailed definitions of unfamiliar phrases. Users are able to save individual words to a personal list for future reference as well. Moreover, all translations are stored in the history log unless they are manually deleted.

Advanced capabilities

Any web page can be quickly translated using the plugin. Instruments for customizing the default language list to better fit personal preferences are available.
