IBM Lotus Symphony is a Windows software that contains instruments for writing and modifying texts, building complex spreadsheets and designing informative digital presentations. It supports all Microsoft Office file formats like DOC, XLS and PPT.

Creating new files

This program allows you to make a blank document, presentation or spreadsheet. Moreover, there are options to quickly design an envelope, label or business card. Every option has additional settings that let you change the paper size, format and other parameters.

Users can work with one of the included templates. There are various document types such as the fax, invoice, letter, memo, newsletter and resume. Spreadsheets for the expense reports, loan authorizations, purchase orders and training course applications are available. Finally, users have access to presentation templates for the business plans, corporate orientations, project meetings and work proposals.

Editing tools

Like in Texter, there are flexible instruments for modifying the visual appearance of the text. You are able to change the size, style, font, color and alignment of the letters. Additionally, it is possible to create numbered lists and insert geometrical shapes and arrows. Graphs and charts can be generated and placed on the page as well.
