HyperSpin is a Windows program that allows you to connect an arcade machine to a computer and use a menu system to navigate through the game collection. You can organize your favorite titles, as well as launch emulators and computer games from a convenient interface.

Purpose

Without a front end application, you need to download and install emulators and ROMs individually. It is a long and arduous process. With HyperSpin you will be presented with a stylish layout with an easy to use graphical user interface. All available platforms are listed in an easy to navigate menu. When the desired system is selected, supported games for that machine are displayed in a similar graphical fashion.

Functionality

The software was originally built to work with MAME applications. Setting up and launching emulators is not that complicated. With RocketLauncher running in the background the program is able to launch a plethora of different machines, which includes most retro consoles and computers including the Amiga and the Atari ST.

Rocket Launcher

Rocket Launcher runs alongside the main program. The main goal of this utility is to increase the accessibility of emulators and games. It expands on the options you have while using these emulators. Essentially it is the back end of the HyperSpin.
