HyperHDR is a Windows tool for enhancing video playback, gaming and entertainment setups with ambient lighting that reacts to the content on the screen. It leverages GPU acceleration to deliver low latency image capturing and color processing. Moreover, users are able to adapt HDR movies for SDR monitors through tone mapping.

How to use

Like Mystic Light, the application automatically adjusts LED colors and brightness to perfectly match monitor output. This enables seamless transitions between the display and ambient lights. There is support for a wide range of external devices such as:

APA102 LED strips and more.

You can manually control the brightness, tweak the color and correct the gamma of each diode. Additionally, a collection of artistic background effects like Breath, Candle, Plasma and Sparks is included.

It is possible to disable individual components like smoothing and black bar detection depending on the type of content or time of day. Moreover, users are able to operate their lights remotely from anywhere in the world via the web console. Comprehensive logs are collected and saved automatically as well to streamline troubleshooting tasks.
