Hyper for YouTube is a Windows utility that allows users to find content on YouTube and download videos. There is support for several output file formats, including MP3, WMA, MP4, AVI, WMV, M4A and WAV.

How to use

The main window contains a window with the list of currently popular video clips. You can choose one of them or look up other content by entering the name in the search field at the top of the interface. It is possible to select multiple items and add them to the download queue.

Users are able to change the output file format before beginning the process. Additionally, there is a toggle for enabling HD downloads.

Please note that Hyper for YouTube is obsolete and no longer supported by the developer. The main functionality is broken. You can try YouTubeGet or another similar application to download clips from YouTube.

Playback

Instruments for watching multimedia content in the embedded browser are provided. There are standard playback controls like play and pause. The fullscreen mode can be enabled as well.

An option to add individual videos to the favorite list is included. Users are able to quickly download all saved items.
