Hobbywing is a Windows utility oriented toward radio controlled car and drone enthusiasts. It contains instruments for precisely setting the parameters of electronic speed controllers made by Hobbywing. Additionally, it is possible to update the internal ESC firmware.

Controller configuration

You are able to specify a wide range of device settings such as the brake type, punch control, timing, low voltage cutoff point, brake force, etc. There is support for different RC vehicle types, including cars, boats, drones and airplanes. Please note that Hobbywing uses a serial port driver for communicating with ESCs.

It is possible to calculate the number of LiPo batteries required to operate the vehicle for a certain period of time. Similar to Betaflight, flexible engine throttle controls are provided. There is a comprehensive help system with detailed information about all available parameters.

Firmware update

An option to upgrade any compatible electronic speed controller is included. Users can download and install the latest firmware version to resolve potential technical issues and add new functionality to the device.
