Higan GBA is a Windows utility for emulating multiple popular gaming consoles such as Game Boy Advance, Mega Drive, Master System, SuperGrafx, MSX2 and other devices. There is a high performance video engine with detailed graphics.

Game launch

This program does not require installation. Users are instructed to unpack the downloaded archive to any directory on the hard drive and run the extracted executable file to start the emulator. The next step is to select the device model. An option to create multiple profiles for different consoles is available.

It is necessary to import an original game image to begin playing. You can configure audio settings and controller parameters. Moreover, there are tools for adjusting the brightness and color saturation.

Additional functionality

Similar to Orbital, the emulator allows users to save gameplay progress and continue from the exact same moment later.

There is support for various models of third-party gamepads. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard as a controller. Instruments for remapping individual buttons are provided.

Please note that original BIOS firmware is required for emulating some consoles. It can be obtained from the official developer website or found elsewhere on the internet.
