Gordon Gate Flash Driver is a Windows utility for reflashing the internal memory on multiple models of Sony Ericsson smartphones. It is helpful for restoring corrupted system files and integrating additional features into mobile devices. Please note that Gordon Gate Flash Driver is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Compatible hardware

All Sony Ericsson mobile phones based on the DB2020 chipset are supported by this program. The list includes K530, S500, W580, Z610, K770 and many other models. A DCU60 cable is necessary for flashing new firmware versions to the device.

It is worth noting that Gordon Gate Flash Driver is not intended for removing the simlock. There are other apps for this purpose like Universal Simlock Remover.

Installation prerequisites

Users are instructed to set up the USB Flash and Device Manager drivers before starting the program. The next step is to connect the phone to the desktop via DCU60 cable and begin the flashing process. It may take up to an hour depending on the memory condition and size.

Various modified firmware versions that offer you new functions and bug fixes can be found on the internet. Additionally, it is possible to downgrade the phone to troubleshoot potential technical issues.
