Google Talk is a Windows program for chatting with friends and colleagues. There are tools for organizing group calls and sharing files. Please note that Google Talk is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Main purpose

With the help of this software users can send and receive messages over the network. There is a collection of stickers and emojis to make text communications more fun and expressive. Moreover, it is possible to organize audio and video calls.

You are able to configure system notifications to receive alerts about new messages. Alarms can be temporarily muted for a predefined amount of time. The Settings menu contains instruments for adjusting the output streaming quality and selecting correct capture devices.

Additional functions

Like in Softros LAN Messenger, users can search their chat history for specific messages or keywords. This is helpful for quickly finding required information in a large archive.

There is a dark mode for reducing eye strain and saving battery life on a laptop. You are able to customize the visual appearance of the main font as well.
