GLMixer is a program package for Windows intended to combine audio mixing and video editing capabilities. Generally speaking, you need to load a set of multimedia samples, decide how much of each should be visible, arrange and apply various effects to them. The output is assembled as a flow of images in the main rendering window, which may be displayed on an external monitor or projector. Alternatively, you can save the project as a video file.

Overview

When editing content using third-party utilities like Pinnacle Studio Editor 10 or SONY Vegas Pro, you are able to create multiple video tracks, and place your own clips on each to achieve an overlapping effect. The main goal of this software solution is to help you to perform these tasks quickly.

Thanks to GLMixer, you can load multimedia items in several ways, including from a webcam, by capturing desktop, or by importing videos in such formats as MPG, MP4, AVI, MOV, SWF, FLV and others. It is also possible to work with images with PNG, JPEG, TIFF, GIF, and BMP extension.

Arrange videos

The workspace comes equipped with a round area in which videos are placed and represented by thumbnails. You have the ability to place clips in the editing window by simply dragging and dropping them from Windows Explorer. Please note that the closer the thumbnail to the center of the circle, the brighter the blended video will appear. This means by arranging clips in different parts of the circular area, you can adjust their degree of transparency.
