G Power is a program for Windows developed for users who need to conduct statistical power analysis and calculate probabilities, as well as other test cases. It features a standard graphical interface layout.

Perform statistics tests

The software is very intuitive in use, as all you need to do is choose the appropriate test type and the desired parameters via the drop-down menus. It is worth mentioning that the tool is capable of performing calculations for F, t, x2 and z test families. The operation itself is carried and graph plotting is done in a short amount of time.

Depending on the test family you select, there are a variety of statistical tests that the application supports. This means, you have the ability to perform regression, correlation, proportion, variances and other methods using five different types of power analysis.

Generate and export data

Once you set the necessary input parameters, you can click on the Calculate button to initiate the process. The central and non-central distribution is displayed in a graph mode, while the output parameters are calculated in a separate grid.

The program also allows you to generate a bi-dimensional plot for a predefined range of values. The result may be copied to clipboard or saved for later reference. In addition, you have the ability to view, save or print a log of every performed analysis. If you need to construct mathematical equations and formulas, you may use another utility called Mathcad.
