Fritz Chess Benchmark
Fritz Chess Benchmark is a Windows program that lets you test CPU performance. The results are displayed relative to the Pentium3 1.0Ghz processor. It is helpful for evaluating the calculation speed in chess games.
How to use
This software does not require installation. Users can start it by clicking the included executable file. The amount of detected CPU logical threads is displayed in the main window. It is possible to perform a full test or choose a custom amount of cores to evaluate. During the check the processor will experience maximum loads for several minutes. It is worth mentioning that adequate cooling is required for achieving the best score.
Results
After finishing the test you can view the amount of kilo nodes per second at the bottom of the interface. Additionally, there is a relative speed value for comparing with other people online. You are able to manually upload the score to the spreadsheet on the official website.
Please note that Fritz Chess Benchmark does not provide details about all processor capabilities. There are other applications such as Everest and 3DMark that can offer users additional hardware information.
