ESD Decrypter is a lightweight program for Windows that facilitates the conversion of Microsoft OS installation files to ISO format. Once transformed, users can proceed to burn the item onto a disc or transfer it to a USB drive.

Naturally, working with a command line interface might appear daunting initially. However, accessing the main functionalities is a straightforward process. With just a few simple steps, you can easily accomplish the task at hand. Alternatively, you may try a tool called AnyToISO.

After downloading the archive, you need to decompress it and place your preferred ESD files into the same folder. The next step is to right click the main BAT item. It is recommended to run it with administrative rights.

ESD to ISO conversion

The utility presents five distinct options for you to choose from. Each one offers a different outcome, as explained briefly on the start screen. You can create your ISO through the standard install.wim or you may use the compressed install.wim for a nearly identical purpose.

Additionally, it is possible to build the compressed install.esd. Last but not least, you can decrypt the ESD file without additional actions. The simplest method is the one where you can type the corresponding number and press Enter key.
