DXTBmp is a Windows software that allows you to extract and manipulate graphics elements from Microsoft Flight Simulator, RailSimulator, Medieval Total War, Call of Duty and other video games. It is possible to work with extended bitmap and DDS textures. Multiple common output image file formats are supported.

Main purpose

With the help of this program users can open textures from a wide variety of video games and edit them. There are instruments for flipping and mirroring the image to better fit the project.

You are able to import and export alpha channels. Colors in the picture can be inverted as well. It is possible to preview the results before saving the texture.

Additional functionality

An option to quickly send the currently opened texture to a predefined external graphics editor is included. Users can specify the path to the executable file of the third party application such as Adobe Photoshop Elements or Ulead Photo Express.

There are instruments for exporting resulting texture files to several image formats like DDS, BMP and ACE. You are able to select the correct container that is compatible with the original game.
