Dain App is a Windows frame interpolation utility. With its help you can apply modern neural net algorithms to video clips and make them smoother. Please note that Dain App is distributed on a commercial basis. There is no free trial version.
Interpolation
The main purpose of this program is automatically generating and inserting additional frames into the video. This process can help users increase the resulting quality and reduce jitter.
It is important to mention that this software supports only NVIDIA graphics cards with CUDA 5.0 or later. GPUs from AMD cannot be used for frame interpolation.
Operation parameters
After starting the application you are prompted to import the input file in one of the compatible formats. The next step is to specify the target folder.
Users can select the interpolation multiplier from the drop down menu. Alternatively, it is possible to manually enter the required output FPS value into the corresponding text field.
Similar to Topaz Video, there is an option to resize the resulting clip. Checkboxes for adding the Dain App watermark, limiting the palette and creating a looped animation are included. Moreover, you are able to interpolate high frame rate videos to 60 FPS. This functionality is helpful for reducing output filesize.
