CKEditor is a Windows software for integrating text editing capabilities directly into any website. There is a variety of formatting options, including headings, lists and tables. The program is compatible with WordPress and Drupal.

Installation

Users are instructed to copy the contents of the downloaded archive to the corresponding subdirectory of the main website folder. New functionality can be added to product descriptions, news articles, blog posts and other types of HTML pages.

Editing options

The toolbar contains buttons for transforming selected text to bold or italic format. Additionally, there is a drop down menu for creating large, medium and small headings. You can insert URLs and images directly into the page as well.

It is possible to add a spreadsheet with a customizable number of rows and columns to the layout. Moreover, users are able to generate numbered lists and bullet points.

Configuration

You can personalize the toolbar to better fit specific requirements. There are multiple plugins for adding new capabilities like AI assistant, support for special mathematical symbols and automatic spell check to the program.
