This application allows you to create multiple virtual optical drives in the system. Additionally, it is possible to create and manage ISO disc images.
CDSpace
CDSpace is a Windows program for working with virtual drives and disc images. Users are able to protect sensitive information with a personal password. There is support for multi-session CDs. Several interface themes are included.
Virtual CD-ROM
You can add up to 23 drives in the operating system. It is possible to load multiple ISO images in different CD-ROMs and work with them simultaneously. There are Insert and Eject buttons for operating virtual drives. After loading the image you can interact with it like with a physical media. Drive letters are customizable.
Creating images
This software lets users convert discs into ISO files. It is necessary to insert a CD with information in the physical drive and click the Create button. There are several settings profiles for various media types such as Audio CD, SafeDisk, Securom and Tages. Alternatively, users can manually configure grabbing parameters to include the whole CD information, measure media surface density, detect irregular sectors and ignore reading errors. Resulting ISO disc images may be burned to blank CDs with the help of Nero or converted to the proprietary LCD format.
Please note that CDSpace is an obsolete software and no longer supported by the developer. It does not work correctly in modern operating systems.
