CamelPhat is a Windows utility for integrating a VST plugin into a wide variety of popular digital audio workstation apps such as MASCHINE, Ableton Live and Cubase. It is designed to add warmth, punch and presence to music, podcasts, games or movies.

Available effects

There are four different distortion types: tube, mech, bitcrush and waveshape. Users can mix and match them to generate unique sounds. The two included resonant filters work in either parallel or serial mode. Additionally, it is possible to apply low pass, high pass, notch, comb, formant, band pass and other effects.

You are able to modulate any parameter of the plugin with the help of two LFOs and envelope followers. Tools for adjusting the distortion amount, filter cutoff point, volume and pan are provided. LFOs can be synchronized to the host tempo or used as free running oscillators.

Processing instruments

The Master section offers users a compressor, limiter, flexible equalizer and bass enhancer. These options are helpful for shaping the final output as well as making it louder, clearer and more balanced.

New plugin settings can be quickly generated by clicking the Randomize button. You are able to save personal presets or utilize the factory profiles that cover a wide range of genres and styles.
