Bricx Command Center is a comprehensive program for Windows that enables you to create scripts for LEGO MINDSTORMS robots. There is support for both current and previous versions of these machines.

Programming robots

The tool provides you with an IDE equipped with all the necessary instruments and features for coding and controlling your robot. The projects are compatible with the NXT brick through Not eXactly C, Next Byte Codes, and NPG with the NBC compiler. You can also program various RCX, Scout, Cybermaster, and Spybot bricks using the NQC language.

The graphical interface is thoughtfully organized. The intuitive layout ensures quick access to all available functions. Naturally, it includes a text editor where you can compose your code. Alternatively, you may opt for the official application called LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT.

Code templates

To simplify the coding process and establish a structured workflow, the software offers an extensive template library. From this catalog, you can insert preset segments of code into the editor by double clicking. The templates cover different categories, including Debugging, Outputs, Sensors, Buttons, Messaging, etc.

The utility allows you to simultaneously work on multiple projects. It presents a window list for easy navigation, especially when dealing with numerous open items. You also have access to a warning display and a macro library to enhance your coding experience.
