Automap is a Windows application for configuring Novation MIDI keyboards. Compatible models include Impulse 25, Launchpad, UltraNova, Nocturn and many other devices. Users can manually select MIDI ports for sending and receiving audio signals.

Connection parameters

After starting the utility you are able to choose the correct hardware from the drop-down menu. This software supports full integration with the Reason music editor. You can set up the physical keyboard to be used for song creation and automatically map all buttons, switches and knobs. There is a plugin for displaying all input signals in the sequencer track view.

Preferences

Users can configure the app to launch on system startup. It is possible to select the primary device and adjust encoder acceleration settings. There is a button for specifying the plugin directory on the hard drive. System notifications for newly connected devices are available.

This software lets you assign certain MIDI ports to send and receive audio signals. Mixer controls and plugins can be mapped to custom buttons for quick activation.
