ASUS Keyboard Hotkeys is a Windows utility for streamlining your workflow on an ASUS portable computer by customizing default keyboard shortcuts associated with the Fn key. There is an on screen display that shows the current status of the hotkeys.

Configuration

After installing the program new shortcuts will be automatically added to the system. For example, you are able to deactivate the touchpad to prevent accidental input when typing. Similar to Acer Launch Manager, the screen brightness can be adjusted according to specific requirements and lighting conditions.

Users can change the output audio volume or mute the sound completely. Additionally, an option to toggle sleep mode is provided as well. All these hotkeys are intended to simplify PC interactions and improve productivity.

OSD

There is a custom on screen display that is shown when you press one of the new combinations. It contains information about the current status of the target function. This is helpful for managing the computer. In addition to that, the active power state like On Battery or Plugged In is displayed for a few seconds in the middle of the screen upon attaching or unplugging the cable.
