AjaxAMP is a Windows utility for integrating an extension into the obsolete Winamp audio player. It allows you to view the personal media library and edit existing playlists in a web browser. Additionally, there are tools for streaming music from another computer.

Playback control

The web interface imitates the original Winamp layout. There are buttons for starting, pausing and stopping the currently selected song as well as for jumping to the previous or next track. Moreover, users can loop and shuffle the playlist.

It is important to mention that both Winamp and AjaxAMP are discontinued and no longer supported by their respective developers. There are modern applications with similar functionality like VLC Media Player.

Media library

You are able to browse all audio tracks from the personal collection in the corresponding window. The list is sortable by title, date, size, artist, bitrate and other attributes. It is possible to delete individual items from the library.

Music streaming

Instruments for playing media files located on another computer in the local network are available. Users can stream songs in the original quality without any delays or lags.
