Zero Footprint Crypt is a Windows application for encrypting personal data on the hard drive. Similar to Symantec Encryption Desktop, there is support for several robust algorithms like AES 256 and Blowfish. Additionally, it is possible to generate strong passwords for various online services.

Encryption

The program is capable of safeguarding confidential images, audio tracks, videos, PDF documents, compressed archives and any other type of files from prying eyes by protecting them with a password. An option to preview encrypted items directly within the app is provided. Moreover, there are tools for generating self extracting packages that can be safely shared over the network without worrying about data leaks.

Please note that Zero Footprint Crypt is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Additional functions

Users can completely wipe sensitive files from any storage device. Instruments for generating secure passwords are included as well. This eliminates the risk of compromising important information by creating weak keyphrases.
