YouTube Music is a Windows utility that lets you listen to audio tracks on YouTube. It is possible to browse new releases and create custom playlists. There is an option to view lyrics in real time as well. Please note that free accounts have limited capabilities.

Music collection

The main window contains an embedded web browser for navigating through different YouTube sections. Users can view the lists of recommended music videos, playlists, artists and albums. It is necessary to log into the account to access personally tailored content.

There is a customizable audio player. Like in Winamp, you are able to shuffle tracks in the playlist and save favorite songs to the personal library. Buttons for displaying the lyrics and muting the sound are provided as well.

Configuration

Users can set the application to launch on system startup and enable hardware acceleration. The visual appearance of the interface is adjustable.

Playback settings include toggles for showing track progress on the taskbar and skipping disliked songs. Moreover, you are able to set the mini player to always be on top of all other windows. Flexible keyboard shortcuts for navigating to the next or previous song are included.
