XV2 Patcher is a Windows utility for updating Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. It allows users to load external files into the game and prioritize them over the original content.

Installation process

After downloading the archive you are instructed to unpack it to any directory on the hard drive. The next step is to copy the Bin and XV2Patcher folders to the main game location. The exact path can be found in the Steam application. Modded files have to be placed alongside their original counterparts.

It is necessary to rename the DLL package located in the EasyAntiCheat folder to anything else. This operation prevents the anti-cheat module from being loaded. Users can start the game by running the DBXV2.EXE file from the Bin directory to avoid the Untrusted System File error.

Additional content

The archive contains modifications for the internal game UI. They allow you to hide the battle interface, dump auto-generated portraits and take control over NPC allies. These mods are disabled by default. Each setting is activated manually by editing the included INI file in a word processor such as Notepad.
