XMPlay is a Windows utility for playing songs. There is support for multiple popular file formats including WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG and AAC. Moreover, users can import M3U playlists. A wide variety of sound processing tools is available.

Usage

You are able to open an audio track or a playlist by clicking the corresponding button in the main window. A nine-band equalizer provides options for adjusting separate frequencies. There are amplification and reverb sliders as well as a normalizer. You can save the settings to be used later.

Tools for creating and editing playlists are provided. Users are able to download and install various visualization plugins. It is worth mentioning that this program does not require installation. Users can start listening to music immediately after unpacking the included archive.

Player configuration

Manual buffer settings are included. You are able to replace the default equalizer with other versions. It is recommended to install third-party plugins from the official website for enabling additional audio processing capabilities. Available options include Winamp DSP Wrapper and Ozone. The visual appearance of the main interface can be changed in the Skins menu.
