X Particles is a Windows extension for Cinema 4D. It contains instruments for generating realistic visual effects and professional animations. Please note that X Particles is a paid plugin. There is no free trial version.

How it works

This program lets users create complex particle effects and simulate various real world objects. It utilizes the CPU to cache every frame and stores data either in the RAM or on the high speed storage device. The allocated cache space size can be adjusted for processing large files.

Effect generation

Like in Trapcode Particular, you are able to control the color, shape and size of individual particles. Moreover, it is possible to configure complex interactions between the objects to imitate real life behavior. There are tools for granular advection, fracturing and dissolvement of separate elements as well.

Users can simulate the movement of a fluid in a 3D environment. This is helpful for designing industrial equipment and planning drainage systems. The plugin comes with an extensive documentation that provides detailed information on how to use each function.
