World Creator 3 is a Windows utility for generating 3D landscapes. Users are able to immediately view all modifications in real time without additional rendering. There is a wide variety of masking and blending tools as well as a collection of textures and gradients.

Terrain creation

Similar to Terragen, you can manually draw the basic landscape or procedurally generate a unique environment. Instruments for sculpting individual elements, applying textures to objects and adding vegetation are provided. Moreover, it is possible to add filters like erosion and sedimentation to custom maps.

This program lets users draw roads, rivers, lakes, plateaus, terraces, mountains and other natural objects. There is an option to process real world data to achieve more realistic results.

Please note that World Creator is distributed on a commercial basis. There is no free trial version.

Additional capabilities

Tools for saving custom styles for later usage are included. You can create canyons, cracks, volcanoes, islands, mountain ranges and other environments with a single click. The direction of waterflow and other natural movements are adjustable in real time.

Users are able to add custom masks and blending layers. This functionality is helpful for manually editing complex scenes.
