WinFast PVR is a Windows software for accessing broadcast TV channels on the PC. There is support for both analog and digital signals. You can capture video output to the hard drive and schedule future recordings as well.

Viewing options

The main window contains standard playback buttons and a list of channels. Users are able to pause and rewind live TV broadcasts. Additionally, the picture in picture display format is fully supported.

There is a large selection of TV channels and radios stations from around the world. You can sort the list by language, bitrate, name and other attributes. The output volume and image aspect ratio are adjustable. Moreover, an option to tune overall brightness and contrast to enhance the video quality is included.

Please note that WinFast PVR is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available. There are other solutions with similar capabilities such as TV Expert.

Recording

Users are able to utilize the built in MPEG encoder to capture video in various common formats such as MPEG2, VCD and DVD. It is possible to burn recorded clips directly to blank optical media.
