Wilcom – a software for Windows which allows you to design pattern sketches. It is possible to produce embroidery schemes for sewing machines. Similarly to KnittStyler, the utility is helpful for fashion designers and amateurs.

How to work

First, it is necessary to create a project. You can use the built-in editor to draw sketches. The standard toolbar includes straight and curved lines, fills, gradients and freeform shapes as well. Moreover, you have an opportunity to add text with different fonts and sizes.

Thanks to Wilcom it is easy to create reference lines. You can change drawing scales using those lines. A wide range of colors and shades is available.

Embroidery

After the process of drawing you have to open the stitch settings. It is possible to select the technique and parameters. You can see the result on fabric and also make improvements. The utility allows you to save the design as a program which is transfered to data memory of the sewing machine.
