WebEx Recorder is a Windows software for capturing multimedia content to the hard drive. Supported output file types include ARF and WRF. The former option is intended for the embedded proprietary media player, while the latter format can be played in Windows Media Player.

Interface

The main window contains control elements for starting, pausing and stopping the recording. There is a section for previewing the content before saving it to the hard drive. A slider for volume adjustment is available as well. You can click the Open Application button to select one of the opened programs and begin capturing the output.

Parameters

The Settings menu offers users a checkbox for hiding the recorder panel during the operation. An option to specify keyboard shortcuts for controlling the capturing process is provided as well.

You can insert custom markers in the resulting file. They are helpful for quickly jumping to specific moments in the video editor.

Player

There is a tool for opening captured files. Users are able to scroll through the timeline to locate required sections. Fullscreen mode can be activated in the Controls menu.
