WeatherBug is a software that offers users detailed weather forecasts. There are instruments for adding custom layers to the map for tracking clouds, winds and climate cyclones. Please note that WeatherBug is still under development. There is no desktop version for Windows at the time of writing.

Forecasts

The main window contains detailed information about the temperature, precipitation, humidity and wind speed for your location. It is possible to select any city in the world to view current weather conditions there.

Similar to MSN Weather, users can access hourly and daily forecasts. Moreover, predictions for up to 10 days into the future are included. Clicking on the specific day will bring up additional details like the UV factor, road visibility and atmospheric pressure.

Map

There is an option to view the map with multiple weather layers. You are able to track the movement of clouds to predict rain, snow and other natural phenomena.

Preferences

This program allows users to switch between the Celcius and Fahrenheit temperature measurement scales. Additionally, a drop down menu for selecting the required wind velocity units is included.
