Wad Creator is a Windows software for copying data from the Nintendo Wii gaming console to the hard drive. It is necessary to install a custom IOS36 revision of the internal firmware to the device beforehand. The Homebrew app is required as well.

Main purpose

This program allows users to extract internal game files from a modified Nintendo Wii. This functionality is helpful for creating modifications, backing up save states and performing other operations.

Extraction process

You are instructed to copy the contents of the downloaded archive to the console memory and load the Homebrew application. The list of all installed game titles will be displayed on the screen. The next step is to select the correct external storage device for saving the information. Finally, you can click the Start button to begin the extraction. Resulting files are saved in the WAD format. WiiScrubber is helpful for reducing the size of the final game package.

Please note that using unofficial modifications may result in hardware failure and other technical issues. It is recommended to reset the console to factory settings in case of such problems.
