Visio Technical is a Windows program for designing various types of diagrams, charts and graphs. It offers users a wide range of geometric shapes and flexible drawing tools.

Use cases

This utility lets you create basic, cross functional and swimlane flowcharts. Moreover, it is possible to generate computer network maps with multiple devices, connections and other topology elements.

Users can visualize complex diagrams of internal software architecture. This is helpful for connecting separate logical components and preparing the development project to be deployed. Additionally, instruments for designing data flow charts representing various processes and stores are included.

Please note that Visio Technical is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. There are other solutions with similar capabilities like MindManager.

Drawing tools

A large library of over 50 000 shapes, stencils and other elements is provided. You are able to connect individual components together to create complex diagrams. External data sources can be linked to the project for automatic updates as well.
