Veritas Backup Exec is a Windows software that lets you protect important documents, photos and other items by creating a second copy of the data. It is recommended to store the backup on another hard drive or burn it to an optical media. Alternatively, you can upload information to the cloud storage server for safekeeping.

Backup parameters

This program contains tools for creating a second copy of the operating system with all installed applications and personal settings. The backup can be stored safely on another HDD and recovered in case of hardware failure or external virus attack. Users are able to schedule regular backup operations to keep the system safe.

Please note that the free version of Veritas Backup Exec will stop working 60 days after activating the trial license.

Job Monitor

Similar to Retrospect Backup, there are instruments for managing all active backup, restoration, installation and storage operations. The Home tab lets you view detailed statistics for all connected clients.

Pop-up notifications are displayed automatically when the situation requires administrative actions. Results of the previous backup jobs can be displayed in the History tab.
