VDMax Marceneiro is a Windows utility for creating furniture items such as tables, chairs, beds, wardrobes and shelves. You are able to place objects in a virtual environment with doors, windows and stairs to plan future room layouts.

Design process

This application is intended for carpenters who want to create realistic and detailed models of their works. Like in Chief Architect, there is a library of standard furniture items that can be customized to better fit the project. Moreover, users can apply material textures to all surfaces.

The main window contains buttons for zooming, rotating and panning the camera. You are able to move, resize and distort individual objects. It is possible to design custom modules and decorations as well.

Cost calculation

Instruments for generating detailed reports are provided. Users can estimate the cost of materials and labor that are required for executing the project. Prices of components like wood, nails, screws, paint, etc are adjustable.
