VAG Commander is a powerful Windows car diagnostics utility. With it, users can access and modify a large number of electronic modules. The program supports a wide array of automobile manufacturers like Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda and Porsche.

This software performs diagnostics using the CAN protocol, as well as the K-line. It works with many vehicle electronic control units. This means technicians can access data unavailable to other auto scanners.

Interface and functions

The VAG K+CAN Commander basically consist of two parts:

standard diagnostic functions like reading, clearing trouble codes, device identification, adaptation and measured values;
special functions such as odometer correction, reading login and EEPROM.

In contrast to similar tools like VCDS Lite, all devices are listed in the main screen of the program along with their VAS number. If you want to connect to an electronic module, you need to double click its name. Then you will be able to perform all the necessary modifications.
