Ulead Photo Explorer is a Windows utility for creating and managing your photo and video collection. There is support for all popular media file formats. It is important to note that the free trial version will stop working 15 days after installation.

Import options

After starting the software it will automatically scan all standard image folders to build a library. Users can manually import photos from a memory card, digital camera or optical scanner. Moreover, it is possible to add video clips to the collection.

You are able to mark any item as a favorite for quick access in the future. Thumbnail images can be resized for easier navigation. Alternatively, there is a list mode that allows you to sort the files by name, type, size, creation date and other attributes.

Editing instruments

Similar to Ulead Photo Express, this application lets users adjust the brightness, contrast, color balance, hue and other picture properties. Additionally, options for rotating and cropping the photos are available. There are several visual filters and effects.

Video editing tools include buttons for trimming the clip and converting it to various formats. The output frame rate, quality and compression level are customizable.
