UDP Unicorn is a Windows utility oriented toward system administrators, cybersecurity specialists and other IT professionals. It allows users to diagnose and analyze the behavior of any network under stress by flooding the connection with massive amounts of data.

Test parameters

Similar to Packet Sender, the main window contains an input field for specifying the target IP address. There is a drop down menu to select the desired communication port as well. Moreover, you can change the default packet size according to project requirements.

Users are able to adjust the delay and allocate extra CPU threats to the task, significantly increasing the amount of test data packets. This functionality is particularly beneficial when evaluating the protection of large networks with multiple fallback servers.

Additional instruments

There is an option to scan the local environment and identify all listening ports, which is important for preventing external online attacks. Furthermore, you can view the list of all active connections. Detailed information about the network is available as well, including:

Local hostname;
MAC address;
Public IP and more.
