TypeIt ReadIt is a compact Windows program whose purpose is to help users listen to their documents read aloud. It is a convenient utility for people who are visually impaired or simply want to improve their reading skills.

Overview

Thanks to its intuitive graphical user interface, this tool makes it easy for you to access all of its features. You can type in the text that you want to listen to directly in the main window or paste the content from the clipboard.

What is more, you have the option to toggle the app to start the reading process from the beginning of the text or from where you place your mouse cursor. Additionally, you can pause the reading mode and increase or decrease the narration speed.

Additional functionality

This software gives you the ability to import or export text data from plain text file format and the other way around. It is also possible to print the information and save the sound as a WAV file. If you need to modify the audio track, you can do so with tools like Audacity.

What is more, you are able to edit the text, You can copy, paste and cut the text, as well as increase or decrease the font. Moreover, you may use the in-built spell checker to identify errors in your documents.

It is worth noting that the program also allows you to alter the color of the main window, font and background.
