This convenient tool was developed to help you load Nintendo DS titles from your SD card. The installation is carried out by simply copying the files.
TWLoader
TWLoader is a program for Windows that functions as a CTR-mode frontend for the nds-bootstrap library, featuring a menu reminiscent of the DSi. This solution enables users to load Nintendo DS games directly from their SD cards on their portable consoles.
Introductory notes
It is important to acknowledge that the software has been discontinued, with the final version being 6.7.0. DSiMenu++ has taken its place, making the project obsolete. Consequently, although the tool was once used for loading DS games on the 3DS, it is recommended to employ the aforementioned utility for this functionality. If you would like to emulate Nintendo 3DS titles on PC, you may try an app like Citra.
Setup and operation
After downloading the program, you have to extract sdroot folder to the SD card root. It is not necessary to copy the whole directory, instead you need to move its contents only. The next step is to add the 3dsx file to the sdmc/3ds/folder and dump the DSP. Now you can launch TWLoader from the home menu.
Once loaded, you will be greeted with a DSi menu. It is possible to navigate through the options and load Nintendo DS games from your SD card. To do this, you can access the corresponding folder in the main menu and select the title you want to play.
