TVR is a Windows program for recording digital television programs. It is possible to scan for the signal and locate all available channels.

Capturing video

It is necessary to have a compatible capture card to use this software. Users can connect the source device to the computer with a composite or S-Video cable. It is recommended to select the correct country in the Property Settings menu. Channel auto-detection feature is provided in the TV Setting section. To get access to more digital channels users are able to download Live TV Player.

You can press the Record button to capture the currently playing TV show. There is a flexible scheduling tool to start the process at the predefined times. You are able to configure weekly or daily capture sessions.

Saving snapshots as images is possible with this app. Moreover, an audio signal can be recorded separately as well.

Additional options

Capture settings such as size, framerate and quality can be adjusted from the Record Setting menu. Additionally, users can configure the brightness, contrast, hue and saturation parameters of the incoming picture.

It is possible to trim the captured video with an included simple editor. Final results can be quickly shared over email.
