TurboGrafx Super System Card
TurboGrafx Super System Card is a Windows program for integrating a specialized version of the BIOS into the TurboGrafx 16 video game console. With its help you can play CD-ROM games on the device.
About TurboGrafx
This obsolete console was created in 1989 and still has an active community thanks to emulators like Higan GBA. One of the available accessories called The Super System Card adds optical disc support to the device. It does so by providing additional system memory for processing larger and more complex games. However, a specialized BIOS version is required for unlocking new functionality.
How to install
After downloading the archive users are instructed to unpack its contents to any folder on the computer. The next step is to transfer the extracted PCE file to the device. It may be necessary to restart the console to integrate the new BIOS and apply all changes.
The Super System Card is compatible with a wide variety of CD-ROM games for the TurboGrafx 16 console such as Ys Book I and II, Dungeon Explorer and Bonk’s Adventure. Moreover, loading games from a compact disc is much faster and more reliable compared to standard cartridges.
