TUF Aura Core is a Windows application that allows you to control the backlight for Asus keyboards and laptops. Additionally, users can apply special effects, like flashing. There is also a possibility to change brightness. As with another application MyASUS, this utility only supports devices by the Taiwanese manufacturer.

Compatibility

You can install the application on Asus TUF Gaming laptops. Additionally, the utility supports various Asus keyboards. All the compatible hardware is marked by the Aura RGB sticker.

Color selection

After you launch the application, it offers you a circular color palette. You can select one of the preset colors or create your own. It is possible to change the color of certain parts of the device or the whole backlight. Besides, the utility stores several most recently used colors.

Effects

Using TUF Aura Core, you can control the brightness of the backlight. To do so, you have to move the slider in the upper right part of the screen.

There are several special effects available. For example, you can turn on flickering and adjust its speed. Additionally, it is possible to customize color changing at a slow, medium, or high pace. When you are done with editing, press the Accept button.
